Default Pic of my 3' Custom Stainless Exhaust

Here is a pic of my 3' Custom Stainless Exhaust.

3' from the downpipe to a 3' 36in long Resonator (no cat) all the way back to a Apex-i N1 80mm Turbo muffler..

total costs
480.00

Let me just say, that the greddy sp exhaust blows *** for FI setups.. Now it feels just like when I am at the track when I take my exhaust off.

Jeff

that is sweet. from what i can see, the welds are very nice as well. is that a universal muffler and custom piping? 480? that's pretty inexpensive.

I plan on doing a 3" custom exhaust with a 36" resonator as well. I don't care for stainless pipping...I'll just order the mandrel bends from magnaflow or summit racing I guess.

That's the muffler I'll be using (3" straight through)

How does the resonator quiet down the exhaust?

You've done what I plan on doing. I wanna get a custom 3" piping with Turbo N1 Universal but I want the black muffler.

Nice exhaust bro! And $480 is awesome!

I didnt do the exhaust work myself... it was done at Exhaust Specialities in Everett Wa.. (shawn the owner) by apt only.

I wish I could do welds that nice, hah mine are nasty freaking coat hanger welds.

It sounds really good guys, I had it all straight pipe before (no res no cat) and it was a bit skanky, I got pulled over twice for it being to loud. It just was too raspy, so I put in the 36in 3' high flow resonator and it made it sound so nice. its a very deep bass'ie sound. It just sounds sweet under boost too. wish I had a recorder.

does the resonator make that much of a difference in lowering the exhaust note? because i don't have a resonator on my racing medallion (3" piping as well) and that **** is LOUD. i want my exhaust to be as quiet as the greddy exhaust systems if possible with the resonator. does your exhaust sound like that?

Yup, it has a deep note just like the Greddy Power Extreme. But once it gets under boost it sounds pretty nice. I have heard the racing medallion systems, man those are so freaking loud, I would highly recommend throwing in a resonator, Just try it, they are cheap enough to do, if you dont like it just take it out.
