Well, I found this Red GSR 00 with 75000 on it, and the guy is asking 9900 for it. I do plan on talking him down, but I needed help from the DC2 gurus.

No, it's completely stock and it comes with the blades on it. He has the receipt when he had the bumper replaced on it from the acura dealership. No frame damage...thanks
it depends on other stuff too, is it a 2DR or 4? is the paint and all that in good condtion, had its regular oil changes and been taken care of etc... you can go to the kelly blue book website at http://www.kbb.com and they can give u the private party value. but i think that 9500 would be a reasonable price for a 2dr with 75000 miles on it.

well i figured since he said the guy is asking this price for it and that he has the receipts from the bumper... that it's private party
also check on auto trader dude and see if thats around the price of any other gsr's in ur city

sounds like a good deal. Just check all the gaps where the body pieces meet each other and make sure that they are all uniform. Check for overspray on parts of the car. Check the cars oil. Check the tires. Check the condition of the leather. Ask for service records for when he gets his work done on it.
The price sounds fair if the car is in good condition. If there looks to be anything that needs to be replaced, that gives you good reason to talk him down. good luck!

You speak as if the engines are made by Harley Davidson. I've owned five hondas and not one of them ever leaked anything. Most of these cars I drove up to 190K miles.
To the thread starter, If I were you I'd want to know why the rear bumper was replaced. Get a carfax report done on it. You may be supprised.

Dude... ask anybody that knows about integras and civics.... most of their valve cover gasket and oil pan gasket starts to leak after 100k... and it always start to leak right after a really cold winter! Maybe the place you live at the weather is better there, I wouldn't know, your 1 lucky guy if your hondas never got oil leaks driving up to 190k

Integras aren't expensive
I sold my 98 GSR with various mods for 6800 (which was above KBB).

KBB says mine is worth 11k and a 2000 with 75K in good condition is worth 9800. I guess mileage makes a big difference. Talk him down a little more. I cant believe gsr's are so cheap. Maybe I should get an rsx-s or an itr now....
test drive it first......if it drives good, vtec screams and everything is as it should be..then give him the money before he changes his mind :-D

I'm having an extremely hard time finding a 00-01 GSR for around 10k.
Milano Red GSR w black leather
2000 with imobilizer
7X,000 miles
I think thats one hell of a deal. Acura dealers are still selling 00-01 GSR's for 13-16K.
