Default problem with jdm integra cluster

i bought myself an integra cluster today. everything works well except the fuel gauge

i tried matching it up with the old fuel lvl. but the new one will randomly drop below E or rise above F. is there a proper way to do this?

i was thinking maybe if i filled the car up, waited for the guage to stop moving. and then set it at just above the red F line

you may have to swap the green backs over from your us cluster

maybe you really didn't switch the green backing. you might of thought you did but you forgot which was which.

By switching the green film, it WILL function like your original cluster.

damn you guys i did the same exact thing i got a 96 jdm itr one and i just resently got a 98 jdm itr one they both do the same thing. the green parts in the back are exactly the same as my ls one. if i red it like it should be. when my car is off its already over heating. and my gas is totaly empty. it seems prety weird to methat lots of integra clusters dont work. i think it has somethign to do with the skrews because once i did that with my ls one i put it back together and now that one is all out of wack now too! so please guys...BUMP

anyways, use all of your stock cluster, but use the gauges and bezel (if they are cf itr ones) from the new cluster. only.
