ZC Questions
Do you guys think a ZC is a d-series or a non-vtec b-series. becuase it isnt technically a d -series but i have heard differnt opinoins.
Also would a zc trans bolt up to a b20 or a b18b? some guy said it did, not that i belive him but he said he did it.

the zc is a d. in europe, they have the d16a8 & a9 which is the same thing as a zc, there may be slight diferences, but they are essentially teh same, and tehy are tagged as d motors.....
The DOHC ZC transmission will not bolt up to any B-series engine, maybe unless if you have an adapter plate, but you would have to fab one up for yourself. The DOHC ZC is a d-series engine, for the 3rd time.

ADAPTER PLATE!?!?!?!?!
WTF, are you serious or are you BS'ing.
How the hell do you think that would work?
You would have to fab a new (and longer) input shaft while you were at it!!
Other wise even a 1/2" would cause the shaft not to be seated in the disc properly!
Were you thinking or just posting???
Sorry, had to call ya on that.
Oh yeah, D-SERIES!!!!
