Drag Turbo Kit
is 2,995 way too much for a turbo kit?
its at opt-auto.com
how much would it cost to just build my own?
i've seen greddy for about 2,500 but i don't think its worth it.
opt claim that the drag turbo kit would scare those domestic v-8. Thats what im going for since at the moment, my car is all show and only have a few bolts on with a 2.75 cat back. so i think im ready for a turbo now.

No, $3,ooo for a brand new Drag turbo kit is about right.
Greddy is a very reputable company and it's turbo kit is very high quality. Why do you think it's not worth it?
Unless you like scavenger hunts, compromising the integrity of the kit, and wasting your time, dont build your own turbo kit.

I wouldnt say that at all. You can piece together a very very good kit with out any of this "compromise" you speak of. and researching parts to figure out what is going to be the best for you isnt a waste of time. and if you take your time, then you can end up with a better kit, for less money.

... youll get most of the power out of a proper tune.... make sure you get what you need to beef up the fuel delivery properly, talk to the peeps that are helping you and you are buying the kit from.
