Does anyone know which Power Folding Mirror Switches are compatable? I like the look of the DC2 one instead of the one that is meant for my EK9, just don't know if they are interchangable. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

 

pictures please, there are two versions out, one with the retract written in letters on right side and one with icon on left side. Both are compatible. The latter doesn't need relays hence preferable for wiring up but does need switchin of two wires

yel/red needs to be switsch on the mirror triangles with green/white (passenger) blue/white (driver).

i have a dc2 in my car right now due to the fact that i fried my ek9 one...you know it doesn't fit in the stock location...( i have a 94 switch )

 

Thanks for the help. I have the one that has "Retract" written on it , but I want to use the one that has the small image of the mirros retracting. I just didn't know if they were compatible. Thanks once again.

 

Yes they are compatible. But as I said, wiring them up is different. Will post images of input/output combinations for both switches.

The retract is the harder to install but input/output signals are identical to normal power mirror switch.

The icon switch is actually rather simple but you need to change two wires as the sginal combinations differ. go get the other switch (I have that one as well and my friend has the retract)
