going with b20 vtec

Default going with b20 vtec

ok guys i think ive finally made up my mind i think im going to go with the b20 vtec im going to put the motor in my car now and build it up over the winter (vtec conversions) im not to sure what head i want to go with yet i mean ive done searching i cant becide between b16 or gsr im going more towards the b16. let me know what you guys think. thanx

go with the b16. ive seen some racing vids with this ek9 civic w/ a b20 block and a b16 v-tec head. won every time but it did also have some aftermarket parts too so dont get too big headed

b16 heads are cheaper in most cases..Try and get a pr3 head if you can..

What are you going to do to the bottem end?

hahahahaha.

gsr gives you higher compression but go you can base your results off some internet vid if you want.

hahah gsr heads r a piece of ******* ****, get a b16 head plain and simple they flow better big deal if the gsr has square cc chambers they look gay stock with that manifold and r overrated.

What the ****, you would base your decision on which VTEC head to use on what it looks like, and on internet videos? How about making a decision based on performance???

Yeah, go with the B16 head, you'll be happier with the performance.

Your intelligence amazes me, you know nothing about cyl heads, and why you would benefit more from either head. Dont spread misinformation.

I think the b16 head vs gsr head has all ready been covered. the gsr head more flow at high rpm but not enough to make a difference.
