Low RPM bucking
I have a 97 civic ex with the D16y8 motor (75k miles) , with intake header and exhaust.
Just recently it started bucking at low rpm under moderate load in every gear, but it usually goes away after about 3k rpm.
Sometimes my exhaust will even make a popping noise as well.
What could be causing this? Bad gas, a fouled spark plug??
Thanks

no CEL yet???
could be:
-TPS
-MAP
-IACV
- Large Cat stuck in muffler
-Motor mounts
-Dirty TB
-Ignition wires(try running the engine in the dark and look for arcing)
-spark plugs
-timing off
-Primary 02 sensor on the way out
get to checkin'

Timing hasn't ever been changed
Took out the spark plugs, and the electrodes are "eroded"
if new spark plugs don't fix it, I'll be back.
Thanks for the fast replies!!

By "eroded" do you mean worn down? Hopefully that's what you meant and if so changing them will help, worn down electrodes usually means the plugs been in there too long. post what they look like after you change them if you can.
