Obviously the glass is different on the JDM vs the USDM because of LHD. I want to put the glass from my USDM ones into the JDM ones. I've searched and didn't really find an answer. Is there an easy way to switch the glass? I've heard of putting the mirrors in hot water to heat up the glue...is that the only way and what does that actually entail? Thanks in advance

 

I did that and it was really not that hard... Boil a pot of water use some salad tongs to hold it dip it in and remove the glass... It only takes about thirty seconds in the boiling water to heat the glue up. Just make sure to be careful not to break the glass. You have to peel back the "lip" of the backing plastic. You don't need to do the passenger side glass in the JDM mirrors because it is exactly the same as the USDM one it just doesn't say "objects in mirror are closer than they appear" (I know this because I actually took both the passenger side USDM mirror and driver side JDM (same side as the pass. side USDM) glass out and they were identical). Take your time and it will turn out good. Good luck! Hit me up if you need any more help.
