Default DVC 2 ohm sub

I was thinking about getting a dvc sub so that I can run my amp at 2ohms instead of 4 ohms and stumbled upon a HiFonics sub that runs dual 2 ohm voice coils.

How would I wire this to be 2 ohms running both voice coils rather than just one? Could I just run one? What would happen? TIA

You can't, unless you use 2 of them, get a 4ohm+4ohm DVC sub and wire the VCs in parallel for a 2ohm load. 94

I see.

So now I would like to ask without starting a new thread... should I get 1 12" dvc or should I settle for 2 10" SVC subs? I'm going for loud, but clear. I don't really care about going low.

Use two 4ohm SVC 10" subs. 94
