Default not for sale - looking for value of a 88 hf

the crx doesn't have that much wrong with it. i know recently the front driverside wheel was hit in but it has been fixed. the crx is bone stock, a little rust and the paint is fading, other than that it still runs great and everything works. i was going to buy it but i don't know if it's a good idea. i was wondering if someone could give me an estimate of what they think it is worth.

I sold a 88hf shell for $400 after a raped it of everything I wanted. It has si seats though. I figure if your going to swap a running hf is worth about as much as a hf shell with a couple extra's since the motor is more of a pain to get rid of, and the shell is already taken care of.lol

so you're saying it can't be worth that much? from what i'm told from this guy who does all this work himself. he's fixing the rust. and putting a kit on the car and painting it flat black.

do you think the car is worth 1,000. b/c that's what he is telling me.

if i don't get it, i think he is still trying to sell it. so anyone interested let me know b/c i might not take it

***that does not mean this is a for sale thread***
--------------->I'm looking for opinions

With the body kit? Sounds like thats just about right. I'd still try to beat him down to 900.

i paid $1000 for my stock 88 HF - running, but smoking a little - a little rust at both rear quarters

probably paid a little too much for it - have bought several CRXs (most not running) in about the same condition for $350-$700 - i wanted the 88 HF to build a drag car (still under construction)
