i just finished putting my ls vtec together and i was wonder if the motor will be able to rev up to 8k. here are the mods:

ls block
new bearings
block gurad
main girdle kit
lsvtec kit
itr oil pump
p30 pistons
p28 ecu

stock b16 head

are there any parts i am missing or parts that i should put in?

 

8k sounds fine. Did u not put arp rod bolts in it?

 

stock rod bolts? if so then probobly 8krpm

 

no im just running stock bolts.

 

In that case i wouldnt go above 8000
