lca bolt removal
I'm replacing the lower control arm on a 91 accord. The bolt is loose, but I can't remove because of length. It hits the axle housing. Any Ideas on steps to get the bolt out so I can remove the lca.
Thanks,

Yes, it hits the axle and the engine case. Looks like I have to either remove axle from diff., or remove motor mounts to raise or lower engine for the bolt to come out. Hopefully the honda engineers didn't screw me and I'm missing something.

have u tried prying on the axle to see if it gives enough room to remove bolt ,,i can never recall having to remove axle to take out control arm or raise the engine ,,,mmm,, car ever been wacked on that side by any chance???
My bad, it's not hitting the axle. It's hitting the trans housing, just below the axle. I can wiggle it upwards where it hits the axle and trans. Looks like I need another inch or so of clearence to remove the bolt.
