I dunno, I thought that price was about right, if anyone would like to give me more for it I would gladly accept it.

It is a good price...but an R1....I dunno personal opinions are all different...I rode an R1 and I found the 954 to have more control and power through the turns..but it is a NICE price for the bike...however the mileage sets the price right...my friend has an 03 with only 1800 miles on it..he wanta $9000....but it has Chrome rims and a Yoshimura Slip on

There is an 04 r1 on this forum f/s for less than your friends 03

 

I saw that 04 R1, if it wasn't on the other side of the country I'd probably hop on it.
