because its very unsafe. not to mention if its not drilled PERFECT it will never be true round.

the cost of doing it properly you could probably get a new set of wheels.

This is a terrible idea. Either do a hub swap, or buy new wheels.

like i said before bad bad idea, could be out of round, could break off at the hub so one day you will be driving, then you will see a wheel with no spot to attatch to the hub, just spokes roll by you and you will be hella gangsta doin some 3wheel motion. but if you want sure you can find a shop to do it.....

another bump to NOT redrill rims. Info on the kind of wheels, and what kind of redrilling your doing?

Yea, youd need a VERY Good shop. It would have to be perfect (more precise than redrilling rotors obviously.) ANd could affect the rigidity of the wheel and/or weigh balance.

Hey, I say go for it. Run out, buy yourself a nice corded drill to burn up, and a few drill bits, and mark off the lugs and drill them out yourself. I mean, whats the worst that could happen.

Go for it man!! Good luck!!!

Sorry, but if you dont want to listen to the answer then dont ask the question. But go ahead and drill your rims. I would recomend 3 drill bits and some WD-40...

The chances that you'll pay someone to set up a CNC program and have them redrilled properly are slim to none, and if you did, it still probably would have been cheaper to either buy new rims, or swap hubs.
