ok so i have a 1988 crx hf and it has a 91 crx si motor in it and its running a ls wiring harness now...i matched up all the wires on the harness that werent right but now i have a few extra wires that have no match on the wiring harness where it plugs into car harness on the driver side.......and i am not getting any power to the fuel pump and no power to the dizzy i need help asap please this car needs to be done already........if anyone can post a etm of the wiring on the car harness on the driver side that would be awesome that way i know what wires control what......

 

why on earth are you using the ls hanress? they are completely diffrent firewall plug wise.

 

because thats all i have lying around.......hmm i colored matched the wires...but im sure that some of the wires that are on the pass side need to be on the driver side and vice versa does this sound right to anyone....

 

its been awhile since i have wired up anything........

 

were is the 88 hf harness? Your gonna have to do alot more than color match wires I'm afraid. The 88 hf and 91 si harnesses do not even plug in together or match up.

 

the car didnt come with the hf harness.......ok well ill get a hf harness and just replace it......thanks man.......

this may seem like another dumb ? but do you have to use the crx hf ecu i didnt think you had to......i have a 90-91 crx si ecu right now......its been a long time since i have played the ef game........

 

the si ecu will plug right in and work...all the ecu plugs are the same, just getting from there to the sensors is diffrent
