Should I buy this s2000?
It is a grey 2000 s2000 with 65k miles on it. He is probably gonna want around 15,000 for it.
Is 65k too many miles? what problems will I encounter in the future, if any?
I know it is a manual honda and i know civics can have 150,000+ miles on them but this is not a civic.
Thanks.

Just from the pic it looks like the tires are the wrong size for the car. Give it a good look over for signs of repair/paint (look in door jambs for paint edges, check for vin plates on all the panels, and underneath for removed tar/sealant) And check on maintenance records..if everything is ok $15k should be about right.
Good luck

It's going to level off soon. This time of year, dealerships are in their "scam" mode, they know that people that are getting rid of their S2000's are really wanting to get out of them, and they know that people that are buying S2000's will probobly pay more than what their worth. My brother's friend just sold a 2004 with 9k miles on it for $29,000 (only had comptech Ice Box and comptech exhaust of some sort...sorry, dont know the names of the exhausts, not a big fan of exhausts anymore after having 2 quiet cars now).
As far as that one goes up top...first thing i noticed was the tires...check those things man, and make sure it was serviced appropriately.

Yup...my friend busted my *** with his 04 when we raced one time, cars are exactly the same (i could probobly run better with him now)...his is suzuka though, must have been the color.
I was told by an integra owner the other day that i was gay...(after he asked if i wanted to race him in my CL and i laughed and just kept walking)...so i figure the youth of today being all wise and knowing, i should probobly just stop fighting it and act the role. I dont think im going to succeed though...i dont drive a blue S2000...
lol...

Can you find me one for that much. I have been struggling to find one for under $18k within a 200 mile radius with under 60k miles on it.

lol...please do, the little fringy things on the one she has now give me welts.
As far as price...its incredible how much dealerships drop price after October. If someone were in the market for one right now, i'd say wait and buy after October, i watched used S2000's literally drop $4,000+ because of the weather. And you may have to deal with a top up ride for a few months, but you'll be happy when the spring comes.
