Default Need carfax on my GS-R!

Pretty straightforward. I noticed people were getting responses on their requests ....I would be so very grateful if somebody could hook me up with the history of my car. I recently noticed things that are bugging the hell out of me.

does the reports mean something was wrong in the past or could it just be anything from changing titles to maintance records?

^ Carfax pretty much keeps all records on cars. Records like accidents, repairs, smog, DMV, etc. The reports will let you know if you're buying a lemon or not. Reports on the car you're planning to buy is GOOD. It gives you the heads up.

I remember recently seeing some people ask for reports, and other members on here were able to get them the report.... I assume they have a carfax membership or something that allows them unlimited checks..?

^ Thats a good question. I've used Carfax only once and I'm not too familiar with the membership part. Sorry, but I have no further information about Carfax.

The story of this 1998 ACURA INTEGRA GS-R (JH4DC2392WS006568) according to our interpretation of the information reported to CARFAX:
This hatchback has had 4 owners and was owned in Oregon and Washington. The first title for this hatchback was reported to CARFAX by an Oregon DMV in 1999.
It has had no minor or moderate accidents reported to CARFAX.
It has had no DMV-reported total loss events, like a major accident, fire or flood.
It has not been reported by a DMV as having an Exceeds Mechanical Limits or Not Actual Mileage title.
It has a consistent mileage history with no indication of an odometer rollback. It was driven an average of 21,071 miles per year, which is higher than the industry average of 15,000. The last odometer reading, reported on 05/11/2005, was 129,778 miles.
It was not reported by a DMV as a Manufacturer Buyback (LEMON).
Its basic warranty has expired. You may want to discuss an extended warranty with your dealer.
Go to the Detailed Vehicle History for the complete history and a glossary of terms.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!

I'm actually surprised, and thus pleased, that it has had no accidents...I was almost sure it had, I noticed some things about the car that led me to believe it had. This is good news then.

It doesn't mean that your car hasn't been in a wreck. There is no way to tell if your car has been in a fender bender or a shopping cart runs into it in a parking lot. The car fax will tell you if it's been in an accident resulting in frame or chassis damage, or if it has a salvaged title, or declared lemon, or multiple leins, or repo'd, how many times it's been registered and where thus how many owners... and so on and so forth!

you only see an accident indicator if it was reported to the DMV.
