ive an opportunity to buy a complete b16a swap from a 2000 em1 coupr. this sounds a like a hot motor or the deal of a lifetime. other than asking the police, is/are there any other ways to tell if its hot? being active duty navy, i can ill afford to get caught with a hot motor. thanx all!

 

I think if you can get the VIN then you can take it to the dealership, or run carfax
