which o2 sensor do YOU use. obd0 b16a
theres 2 sensors on mine. ones up on the actual header and the other is down before the cat. the one thats on the header is hooked up and theo ther one isnt. im pretty sure the one thats hooked up is shot. is it as easy as hooking up the one that isnt in use? does it matter where the sensor is in the exhuast stream?
what ecu?
you sure its obd0 (pr3/pw0) becuase those ecus expect TWO sensors, one showing cylinders 1/3 the other showing 2/4. since they are so close to the block on the header, theres no need for a heating element, hence they are only a single wire.
they are found on he header up near the block on the runners 1 and 3 before the merge. obd0 do not have any other o2, nothing by or on the cat or the collector.
running without both makes the car run like complete ****. theres tons of threads about it on here, just search the ef section here on honda-tech for "bogging" or "bog" and watch what the solution always is.
however your saying you have one up top and one down low, how many wires are coming off the lower one thats not hooked up, 4? or just 1??
sounds to me like your not runnign the correct headers.... like b18b obd2a headers or something....
solutions would be chip that ecu to run on a single, add the bungs in the stock locations up by the top of the header, or go obd1 and use the 4 wire low by the collector.
it all depends on what ecu you have, chances are you tied both the inputs on the ecu to the one sensor, which will make the CODE go away, but doesnt give accurate info where its needed most. in other words, its a ghetto special like having vtec wired to a momentary switch on the dash with no fuel management. its just a bad idea.
post up more info.

its a pr3. thanks for all the info. you shed some light. im now thinking that what i have on the crx is exhuast off something that had an obd1 set up. so thres 2 in the manifold downstream that isnt hooked up. the one thats now hooked up is a 2 wire. i think one of the 2 that ARE hooked up is bad. and the one that isnt hooked up is just plugging a bung.
now my question is...which o2 sensor do i buy? 92 integra gsr im assuming. anyway to test them?
