b20b with turbo. Help guys??
Ok I've got the b20b with Gsr head setup. I am going to Turbo it this sunday. What i'm curious and need to know is the oil line is already tapped into from the rear of the block for the head. Can I "T" off of that and run the turbine oil from there? Will there be enough oil pressure to provide sufficient oil to the head and the turbine? If not, where should I tap the oil for the turbine. The oil port that is blocked off from the head to block is not providing to the head, and in turn the pressure is redirected from the rear through the line. So theoretically speaking, it would be the same even if I just tapped off that line.(I hope) Somebody correct me if I'm wrong. If all else fails, I will just have to install the turbo and then do an oil pressure test after I'm done. But with that being, I don't want to have to do the whole install and then find out my head is starving or my turbine is starving. TIA!
Most people like to "T" off of the stock oil pressure sensor unit on the back of the block.
