Hey were rebuilding my freinds ZC motor and we have no idea what valve seals/guides to use?? any no one locally can tell us anything? I know theres a site that cross refrances parts but I dont know it and I dont know if its on there? Any help would be great and Thanx

I am pretty sure the d16a1 (early integra dohc) valve guide seals will work. The d16a1(dohc)and zc heads are very similar.

 

Get the Honda manual for that cars model and year.

Si model from Japan? Can you even order manuals for JDM cars?

 

Ebay yoo since its mad JDM it will cost you an arm and a leg.

You can probably get the exact same stuff for your car if you order d16a1 parts. Not everything is identical though. Just search online to make sure what is, and is not identical.

 

Sorry, I don't know about the valve guides but perhaps this info will help you narrow it down a bit:

-- On the OBD0 DOHC ZC motors (88-91) everything is either 89 Integra (I forget the exact year range) or 88-91 CRX Si

-- On the OBD1 DOHC ZCs are the same, but a few parts are 92-05 Civic (ie alt belt, exhaust manifold, etc).

pretty much what i go by. it's trial and error process sometimes. but pretty much those are the two motors to look to for replacement parts.
