generic ebay cam seal
is it worth saving that extra 10-20 bucks on one of these? really can't go wrong with machining a plug but i'm concern about the seal material they use. anyone have any experience with these? reason i'm leaning towards this one is the natural finish and no logo because it's going to be partually blocked anyway. let me know what you think and any recommendations if any.

im sure that one will do the job but try looking for a str, if they still continued their product....have my str for 110k miles and still havent had a leak....my stock leaked at 80k
They are pretty much all the same thing. It is just 2 rubber o-rinrs around a block of alloy. I had an STR in my old car and it was the same thing as the ceap one i picked up off of e-bay. The only weird thing with the one you linked is the red o-rings. I wonder if they have a reason for that.
if you really needed high temp dont you think the valve cover seal would be high temp also??
Anyways it was only$0 and that is about the going cost for a ebay seal, so no harm no foul
