Default quickie question

does a DA rear suspension system fit an 88ED?

I've had this DA rear suspension system for a rear brake swap... but im not sure if i can transfer the whole thing... just saw it on sale for real cheap... so i bought it.

yeah it works. just swap the trailing arms, ebrake cables, & brake lines. keep your civic control arms & lcas

Assuming your car isnt rusted and everythying comes out smoothly (it wont)

I would guess 3-4 hours with hand tools.

u should get a 4 wheel alignment afterwards too, and make sure to put antisieze on any threaded part when you reassemble/install... youll thank youself later for that.

It took me a little bit longer than that. I'd set a day aside cause I like to drink & smoke a lot while wrenching. All the interior trim pieces you have to remove and replace, bleeding the brakes, rusted/stubborn ****.

The biggest pain of the whole thing is routing the ebrake cables back through. The damn rubber piece that holds them secure to the undercarraige likes to twist and mangle.
