Has anyone use Spoon Tower bar on 5th gen lude??? If so, would it fit it on the lude?? Does it need any modify to fit the bar in car??

Spoon makes bars specific to the 5th gen (BB6) chassis both front and rear. The supply is very limited. My source is James Chan and http://www.performance-evolution.com. They go on without modification-except that the rear bar goes thru the trunk liner. Apicture and install info is available from http://www.ntpog.org. WARNING: there have been several cases where the Spoon front bar made contact with the hood, just a little but you are warned of the possibility that it will hit on the center brace of the hood. I deliberately bought the Neuspeed front STB for that reason and the rear is Spoon.

minor modifications will have to be made.
mainly on the passenger side where a bracket remains where it holds the cruise control wires ( I THINK) neatly. You have to bend the bracket to accomodate the bar or remove the bracket.

 

What are the other brand of bar which don't need to modify....and is pretty good for the 5th gen?

 

The Gen5 Spoon front bars are no longer available.
Spoon has discontinued them.

Gen4 is still available

I think Cusco and Tanabe has front bars available, but don't quote me on that

 

Neuspeed is prolly your next best bet.

no modifications apparently.
