Also keep in mind that all aftermarket rocker arms disable VTEC. I have yet to see any aftermarket rocker arms that maintain VTEC functionality.

If all aftermarket rocker arms disable VTEC...then what the hell is the purpose!!! Something doesn't sound right?

Do you need VTEC when dragracing and launching at 6-7k and have a power band deep into 10k? No, but a lighter simpler valvetrain might be a good idea. This is FOR RACING ONLY.
Pondus got the right idea.....race use only......

Also, I think these rocker arms enable you to maintain VTEC. I'm not sure if these are phantoms....cuz for some reason I can't get to the phantom site.

Spoon had something similar years ago....(perhaps they still do?) but they took OEM units and lightened, polished the crap outta them.... they sold for some ridiculous price....I'm thinking a half decent machine shop would be able to do the same and have them balanced as well for significantly less..... but that's just my uneducated guess.
......cost vs. complexity vs. gains.....

I *think* I've seen aftermarket rocker arms that retain vtec and simply remove unneeded weight..... I can't tell from the pic, but it looks like the phantom grip rocker arms enable you to retain vtec.....
I think ferrea also had some rocker arms that enabled you to retain vtec...
I noticed that DPR charges between $300-$500 to polish and balance oem rocker arms... so that $ *might* be better spent on an off the shelf solution to minimize down time and save some weight, not to mention a higher strength alloy solution.....
I'll keep searching.....

THEY DISABLE VTEC, or LOCK IT IN, whichever you want to look at.
They only come with the outer rockers, you must retain your STOCK vtec rocker arm
i have 3 sets in stock , come check them out
