You shouldnt have to put the factory stuff back in, the voice for the navi is generated by the navigation unit, then sent through the factory amplifier. So unless you swapped the head unit, which you of course didnt, there shouldnt be a problem. So my 10 years of car audio tells me you need to take it back to the store you had the install done by. If they car about their reputaion they SHOULD fix the problem for free.

thanks for the info. i did just that this morning and the guy used another hi low converter and did something. the only thing diffrent now is when the voice comes on it kills the music like it did before but it plays out of all the speakers instead of just the front , but honestly when it played out of the front andn ot the rear if i had the music loud i couldnt here the voice anyway so this is kind of better.
ps just curious as to if i am utilizing all 4 channels on my amp and how i would know. im using an alpine v12 300 watt amp 75x4 2 jbl gto636 for the doors and 2 alpine type r 6x9s for the rear deck. now im having a little problem because im not sure as to what i should be adjusting. my base on some songs is a little to distorted but its not like is really loud then i would understand but it shouldnt really be like that. i am planning on putting in 1 12inch type r sub with a mono v12 alpine amp . so what should i be setting my amp for my interiors at.

When you install the sub and amp switch the 4ch amp to high-pass.
