HERES THE FUN PART. COMMENTS? THIS IS NOT THE SAME ONE AS ABOVE SO DONT WORRY. THIS WAS A NON REPAIRABLE MUFFLER SO I SAID WHAT THE HELL LETS HAVE A PEEK INSIDE..
I HAD IT BROUGHT OVER TO PURPOSELY OPEN IT UP AND TO SEE THE ACTUAL INNER DESIGN OF IT. I WAS SO CURIOUS AS TO HOW THE DESIGN WAS ON IT I JUST HAD TO BRING IT OVER AND LOOK AT IT MYSELF. WHERE ELSE CAN YOU SEE THIS? NOWHERE...NOW WE ALL KNOW WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE THE FLOW OF THE MUFFLER AS YOU CAN SEE IS NOT THE BEST. DUE TO THE STRAIGHT 90 DEGREE CORNERS AND THE NEW TWIN LOOP IS MUCH MUCH BETTER IN FLOW. IT WAS LATER USED AS TARGETS FOR MY .45 BERETTA

yes this was all inside. i guess it was under water for awhile? i heard all this clunking.... now i know what all that noise was.. YIKES !! if you find one for sale shake it and make sure you hear no clunking sound...

running a catless it has a nice not as low sound as the twin loop. but a nice low subaru impreza kinda sound... that low gerggle sound. i couldnt get a good recording of it

and with the cat on. its as quiet as stock at idle. and when it opens up, its still quiet like greddy sp muffler.

so no problems with tickets on loud exhaust.

 

does it come in a 3"

no mugen normally make everything to work with stock parts.. in japan stock eg6 is at 2.25 diameter piping...


so the inlet is 2.25 and the outlet piping is 3inches. and the tip is 3.5 inches.

i get all my stuff practically for free through my cousin.

(old school street racer, who just happens to have lots of tuner friends)

without him i would never be able to find all the rare stuff. look in my bio for stuff i have aquired and taken photos of.

nah... the butt dyno couldnt tell. except smoother response and much louder when its opened up and past 5,000rpm's

umm i usually agree with your post but this was dumb, do you know anything about echaust and FYI thats a 3.5 inch tip so yea maybe the .5 of an inch more would look better and if you knew anything about flowing exhaust gasses youd realize that is a shitty design.....can you imagine how the sharp the bends in that pipe inside of the tear drop are? yea think about it....just cause its mugen doesnt mean its good....and like he said it added no power at all.....just made it sound different...but yea i give this guy props for all the rare old skool **** hes aquired ive seen the pictures he posts of the old skool **** and i like it all....all i said was this is a really shitty design for an exhaust..

yea im jealous over an exhaust that adds no power i never said it wasnt cool to have....but id much rather have many other exhaust other than that one on my car.
