stock Crx Si rims- how much do they weigh?
That's the figure I usually hear when it comes up...
Don't worry - just about any of the usual 15" wheels will be lighter than the stock 14s. Well, as long as you don't go for triple-chromed spinnaz, that is!

In my defense, those MOMO 15s *did* come with the car. Six or seven of the damn things! And yes, they are definitely heavy. No matter - I'll either be selling them off (if I can find enough center caps to match up a complete set) or just putting them on the car for meets and such. There *IS* a certain Big-80s geekiness to them...
Then again, wheel weight on that car (bone-stock, all-original, near-mint 1990 Barbados Yellow CRX Si) is the absolute least of my worries. It's not going to be a modded/swapped car, it's not going to be racing or autocrossing... just cruising. But I did go ahead and set it up with a set of 15" Konig Villains shod with Dunlop SP9000s, and the stock 14" alloys are still there, with brand new Pirelli P4000s.
So many wheels, so little time!
