Yesterday on my h22a civic I noticed that the throttle cable was VERY Loose. I had my brother press the gas and it had a lot more to go to gas.

After doing some quick adjustments I got the cable to where it should be. peddle sits way higher and during WOT the car ******* Roars. 1st gear has almost no traction and even if I take off slow and give it full gas it always looses traction after vtec in first.

Almost like I got a new engine. Cheapest and most rewarding fix that I have ever done

So for those powerloss issues, don't forget to check basic things like throttle cables.

No need to be an ******* man, maybe if you took the time the first time around to adjust your throttle cable properly you wouldnt have to fall in love with it again or even make this post.

I am only an ******* to people who reply to my post like ********. Why assume that I didn't adjust the cable properly? I purchased the car with the swap already and pretty much gained knowledge afterwards on swaps and Hondas in general.

So this is my first time adjusting the cable and doing it right.

one time a friend of mine use to put a sock on his intake for filtration, he opens his hood one day and the sock is nowhere to be found, at the same time his car's running like ****....yup the intake got hungry and gulped up the sock, it was wraped all around the throttlebody butterfly LOL...we laughed for days...
