Default How to clean my AEM intake filter? or do i replace it? im lost

sup people....so my R has an AEM intake reaching all the way down there that i cant even see the damn thing...

now, do i take the filter/tip/head off and wack it against a wall like a dirty old carpet, or do i add some special sauce to clean it? ;D lol. or is it totally replaceable..

I live in a rural area, lots of dust!.... lemme know

Thanks in advance

I think AEM uses K&N Filters.....just go to Advance Auto or somewhere and get a K&N Filter Recharger Kit....comes with everything you need to clean the filter.
