Default D-Series 14b turbo kit - $600

Basically testing Waters on Part of my turbo kit. I'm not gonna part it, its a package deal.

Reason for selling is I want to use the money to build a mean z6 block, and then build a bigger kit and make some big power.

Whats possibly for sale:

1. Honda CRX HF Manifold with welded adapter plate (yes welded to cast, but is very strong and has held up to tons of abuse)

2. Mitsubishi td05h-14b turbocharger, put on a few months ago in 100% perfect condition, not one bit of shaft play. The goofy putty you see in the picture is gone, and the factory dsm banjo bolt is in its place.

Internal wastegate has not yet been ported, and sits at about 7-8psi.

UPDATE: Here are actual oil fitting pics

3. Spare 14b center section and compressor housing. This one has blown seals and is looser than a vegas bunny ranch employee, but would be a good rebuild victim.

4. DSM Turbo Outlet J-Pipe modified to point down to meet charge pipes

5. Stealthmodeperformance.com oil line kit with modified turbo inlet fitting. Instead of threading the stealthmode fitting into the turbo, this re-uses the stock DSM Banjo bolt, which has an oil pressure restrictor built into it.

6. My Homemade downpipe with open dumptube. The downpipe is 2.5", with a 6 or 8 inch long flex section, and flanged at the end to accept the stock catylitic convertor or a test pipe, or whatever. There's even a donut gasket at the end. It is painted with a coating made by VHT, to withstand up to 2000 degrees farenheit.

There are two slight downsides to this downpipe.

The first is the block clearance at the dumptube. The webbing at the bottom of the block had to be sanded down a few mm to get it to clear. It was very simple to do and only took a couple of seconds with a little air tool. The picture above shows what had to be done.

The next problem I may fix before selling. That issue is flex pipe location. I originally welded this in without checking its position on the car, and it ended up being directly under the oil pan. I may cut it back out and move it so it isnt so cramped at the pan.

For the manifold, turbo, spare turbo, j-pipe, downpipe, oil line kit, I am asking $600

This is a starting price, feel free to make offers on it, but don't lowball me. I am not hard up for cash or in a rush to sell this, so lowballers aren't getting anywhere with me.

Good setup for a beginner, cheap and effective. I landed a 13.99@103mph on 10psi and street tires in a 2600lb Z6 coupe, and even faster on a little more boost. Not sure how fast, as my side of the timeslip was blank, but I was dead even with a supercharged chevy nova that ran a 13.58.

Also, I will consider forged pistons/rods/rings combo as trade.

not selling to afford a rebuild, just on to bigger and better turbo setup so I won't need this one any more, its been a good kit.
