(d16y8) I had a hose busy on me the other day. It was for the antifreeze ...one of the runing to or from the block...anyway...I had to take off the dizzy to get to it. Being the moron I am...I didnt mark it. But i know which way it goes back on. I think that when i sat it down....i turned the little rotar thing on the dizzy that fits into the head where the cam is. I turned it back and got it in. It dosnt start.
i know i gotta find TDC....and i know where to meet the lines up...feel for compression in the 1 spark plug hole. but after that....what do i do. I tried it....threw the dizzy on and its still doing the same thing. Am I suppose to adjust the dizzy ??


Ive never really messed with the dizzy before. usually i marked it and didnt **** with it. this is the first time ive screwed up. what is the button on the side of the dizzy for?

the key on the dizzy only fits one way. Just put it on, and make sure you set it in the middle before you tighten the 3 bolts. Then plug it in, and it should start. If you did all of that, take the cap off the dizzy and see if it has coolant inside.
