Default H1 Bulb Comparisons (Many comments needed)

I've tried a MULTITUDE of aftermarket "hyperwhite" H1 bulbs on my 5th Gen..

Let's take Nokya Artic White bulbs for example..

When comparing the H1 version to the 9006, the 9006 appears whiter with more of a blue tint when compared to the H1 version. The H1 looks more stockish, just a tad bit whiter than stock..

Now I understand that they can't use too dark of a blue dye on the H1 bulbs because they are small and that would really take too much light output from the bulb.

My question is, what brands have all of you tried (H1 sizes only, please) and which ones look the best, and provide good amount of light on the road. Has anybody tried the Razo H1 bulbs?

Thanks in Advance,

Jay

Well yes, I realize that stock bulbs (clear) are the best for highest visibility, but that's not what I was asking in the original post, but thanks for the information.

I've tried

PIAA Platinum Super Whites ($110) - good visibility, but burned out 8months and 11 months

Razo ($60) - about as good as the PIAA bulbs, been using them for 3 months now

Orderd Vision Premium ($20) - heard good things about them, have yet to try them

I have had my new bulbs for a couple months and they are great! They are Street Glow Xenon-White H1s ($14 a pair). They are much whiter than stock, with just a small hint of blue, if any, depends on what the light is reflecting off of. They are also brighter than stock too....I just don't like those blue bulbs for some reason, unless it's an H.I.D. conversion

Razo-Yes indeed. Very nice bulb. However, be warned that in many states ANY blue in the bulb is illegal. They worked just fine with good life. I wrecked one headlight and replaced both sides with 55 watt OSRAM 30+ superwhites. These are brighter and whiter than stock. Got them from http://www.fosmo.com. BTW: Osram is the OEM supplier of 5th gen bulbs so far as I know. You can also check out the range of H1's from Philips. Fosmo is a British mailorder house that does nothing but lamps and has links to various sites.
