What should I use to remove paint from a stainless steel muffler?

 

uhhh......paint remover! hehe. no i would use paint remover, very hot water, and a towel or steel wool if you dont mind minor scratches

 

rub paint thinner with a towel and then wax it.

Where could I get aircraft remover?
Will the aircraft remover or paint thinner damage the muffler?

 

there is some sutff called Imperial Microfinishing Compound Liquid, It's mad by 3M. A paint shop gave me some and it works so good. Just put it on a towel and rub and the paint will be off in a second. Trust me, this stuff works.

 

u should be able to get aircraft remover from any autoparts store

 

double awt (i dont know how its spelled) steel wool will remove it without leaving noticalbe scratchs.
