A/C Blows! (But not cold)
So that about sums it up...all of a sudden the a/c blows, but it's at the temp of the ambient air...hot on hot days, cooler on cool, ya dig?
Is this as simple as a freon recharge? Or is there a quick troubleshoot checklist i could follow?
Didn't know if the one in my manual applies, as i upgraded to the r-134 (?? maybe r12? whichever is the newer of the 2) sytem and had it retrofitted or what have you when i did the swap. That was about 4 years ago, BTW.
Any input = good...i live in florida and it's currently JUNE! (ps that means HOT)
TIA!

Yeah, if you had it changed over to the new freon it is going to be R134A. The cheapest route would be to buy a can of r134 and shoot it in and see if it gets any cooler and if it does go ahead and top it off and maybe have a shop check your system for leaks. If it doesnt start cooling then, you could have a messed up a/c compressor.
