Default why doesnt this gasket fit a B16a?

everytime I try to buy parts from Advance for a B16 they never ******* fit. I was told to tell them I have a 96 del sol si vtec and all the parts will be the same by the people that did my engine swap. I have come to find that this is complete BULLSHIT. so far throttle body gasket didnt fit. now exhaust manifold gasket doesnt fit. why is this?

because you asked for a del sol si vtec, thats a sohc vtec, their computers list an s, si, and vtec, the last being the dohc. Go back and have them order one for a 99si, or a 97 itr.

a 97 ITR has a 1.8, does it use the same exhaust manifold gasket as a b16?

Really, it has a 1.8 , both motors share a pr3 head, intake and exhaust gaskets are the same. I love the people that rant about the parts stores, when they dont know what parts they are asking for in the first place. Good luck getting your motor together and running
