UPDATE! VSM CIVIC STOLEN!! 6/5/05 DC/MD/VA
CAR FOUND... totally stripped and all the windows shattered... punks had a blast with my car.... R.I.P. little one... watch yo backs in VA mang
car was stolen somewhere b/t 1am-8am this morning off of duke st. in alexandria
i prolly knew that this was gonna happen sooner or later.. bastards!!
YES, i did have an alarm and kill switch... for those of you who are wondering...
anyone know about insurance coverage?

sorry about the loss man, hope you will find those bastards soon,
about insurance . how many way do you have?
if you have 2 ways then probably they will send you a nother check
if you have 1.5 hopefully they will and if you have 1 way then lets pray!

it got stolen from 5335 Duke St. near landmark mall
parts that were on the car:
yakima bike rack
si lip
rs exhaust
gunmetal buddy club rims 15
intake, header.. all that crap
there was an si rim in there and golf clubs

has the area around Landmark become dangerous? Duke St, was never too great when I lived in NoVa, but has it gotten worse? For some reason auto theft was always really high in that whole metro area; but isn't really ghetto at all.

As far as I've seen and heard, most insurance companies will only pay for the retail value of the car. Not all insurance companies are the same, and I have heard of some covering aftermarket wheels and audio systems.
