Default ls vtec or b16a stroked

currently i have a b16a stroked to 1840 (81x89mm) running about 11.5:1 CR (flat top piston )...is it better to change my block to a b18b with ctr pistons? also, i've read that most of ls/vtec riders here change their rod bolts so arp. why is that? what's the problem with using oem bolts? thanks.

the oem bolts are to weak to rev that high they stretch and break you should also run arp main studs and headstuds

are the main studs of b18b and their bolts different with the ones in b16a? i rev my motor up to 9500 on the track...and so does my friends....we've never encountered such problems with the bolts...
