Crx Weight?
Lightest Honda? I'd venture to guess the HHT25SLTA weedwhacker - dry weight is 13 lbs. Maybe you should be a little more specific so we can help you out?

The AE86 is not lighter than a CRX, other than maybe the '90-91 Si.

try 1819 for my 1988 Crx HF. its the lightest, and has better LCA than the others.

Care to explain why? Or are you just repeating misinformation you've read on the internet?

how the **** is it misinformation. when the hf is the only crx that has the same type LCA as the ITR.

i think what he's saying is... just because the ITR has them, doesn't mean they're golden. there's no proven advantage, unless you want to use ITR shocks, which are too tall to work the best anyway.

Wrong. All '88 model USDM CRXes used the stamped "box" LCA with the eye-style lower shock mount. All '89 and newer USDM CRXes used the cast "beam" LCA with the fork-style lower shock mount.
There is no handling advantage to be had by using the stamped LCAs. Just because they are found on the USDM ITR and most JDM double-wishbone Civic/CRX/Integra models doesn't mean they are "better."
Most dampers for 2G CRX/4G Civic that can be easily found in the US have a fork-style lower mount for the cast "beam" LCA, so there is actually a larger and more plentiful choice of suspension setups for those.
