just put my crvtec in my crx, the setup is as follows:

stock b20z block
stock b16 head with itr springs/retainers
jg cam gears both set at 0*
aebs headstuds
skunk2 intake manifold/b16 tb
hondata IM gasket
obd1 converted using chipped p28 with stock gsr map

now the things i think are holding me back quite a bit are:

d16a6 FPR.....WHATS THE FUEL PRESSURE ON THIS?
stock crx si intake
stock b16 exhaust manifold, very dented on the bottom
stock b16 cams
untuned

1) How much does everyone think the intake/exhaust and no tuning is holding me back?

2) What would be a reasonable vtec rpm with the given setup? it was at ~4100 with the gsr map and i thought that was way too low so i put it at 5700....it feels a bit high to me....

really id just like to get everyones opinions, right now it feels very torquey but not the overall speed i was thinking i might get.....it feels like mid to high 14's

well im m wife's car she had a 91 crx si with a stock b20 bottom end and a stock b16 head. it had a dc header, a home made intake, and a thermal exhaust with no cat. it ran a 14.01 at 101mph and 2.45 60ft. with her driving. it also dynoed at 176hp and 140tq in st louis. hope this helps

 

what tires? and whats the elevation there? im at 4k+ feet on street tires, which i can very much tell kills my times, i can only launch at around 2k and i still loose traction lol

yeah i feel your pain about elevation i made almost 200hp with 145 trq and launching at 2000 was just too high at the track i ran a 14.0 100

 

any ideas?????????????????????????
