Tell him to **** off, you can use your HF harness ,its basically the same as a SI harness because you have MPFI(multi port fuel injection) 4 injectors, unlike the DX harness which is setup for DPFI 2 injectors , very lil mods to make your HF harness work on the ZC I believe you just add 2 wires for a cam sensor do a search goodluck - James

you can also use your hf/si dizzy and eliminate the cam sensor you just use the cam cap off your sohc dizzy side and put it in place of the zc one

it is a little trick that nikita told me

You may have a 2 wire plug under the IM that will not plug in to anything on the ZC motor. Just leave it unplugged and the car will run fine. Mines been like that for 5 years and still runs great.

Thats not a bad idea, there's no problem with running it that way?

actually the funny thing is that using the hf harness makes it easier... when i did my first zc swap into my hf i couldn't get it started for like a week and was trying everything i could think of, the problem ended up being that i was trying to use an si engine harness in my hf car, i swapped the engine harness to my old hf one and it started right up...

keep in mind for some reason the ECU for HF needs to know its in reverse (know idea why) when running my ecu for a b16 i couldnt keep my plug in for my reverse lights without throwing a code 6 (ECT) did a search and did a lil re-wiring and it works fine , Does anyone notice this problem on your swapped CRX with a HF harness?
