Default shifting

Alright this what ive expierence with my cb7 for about a couple of weeks now..

whenever i would shift from 1st to 2nd.. feels like when ur beginning to enter 2nd gear.. feels like the the shifter is going over metal to metal teeth.. feels like the clutch isn't disengaged enough to allow the shifter to enter 2nd gear smoothly. it enters without grinding.. but at the same time feels like the shifter is going over lil
1992 honda accord ex 5spd 118,760 miles

gears teeth.. kinda feels like the shifter is fighting and ridin ontop of the gears to get in 2nd... it would do it more in the morning.. i heard this is common in the winter...
but anyways took it to a shop to get it looked at... some would beat on my ****.. chirp it.. powershift thru the gears.. also when u shifter quick as hell u don't get the feeling in the shifter feels smooth as in the car is off..

one shop notice the master cylinder leaking.. i got that changed along with the slave cylinder for the clutch.. the problem would still persist.. so i took it to other shops.. other shop said they didn't bleed it right.. so he rebleed it.. also do u think having the wrong oil in the tranny can after this? because it did happen.. first thing i did was took it to a shop to get new tranny oil.. then they put some kind of non brand motor oil.. shop also said there was 2 power rod going from the shifter to the tranny.. he said he grease it up a little..

but the car problem still persist... but now it does it less.. whats happening? is shifting user error? is it because i'm shifting to slow making the rpms drop and the synchros not the same speed so its not aligning and making the shifter hit the synchros?

HELP ME GUYS

Do you Double clutch?

and the honda trany takes 10w-30 motor oil for fluid.

Well most of the manuals do.

Could be that the shift fork is going out. Hard to tell at this point.

Put year make model engine and how you normally shift and what style shifting to you feel it the most.

Shift fork is what I was thinking as well. Doesn't sound like a syncho problem.

Is it just a slight metal crunch or does it do it until you're completely into 2nd

Do you guys realize how rare it is to bend a shift fork in our trannys?

Put some fresh Honda MTF in the car so you can eliminate the stupid stuff then post back.

I have like the same problem in my 95 Accord. I used the Honda MT Oil. I think its the tranny. Is you shifting like its sticky or it clicks going into gear? Try the GM Syncromesh and if that works post it.

well yea the shifting is notchy.. in fact u can feel the gears rubbin against the shifter.. in all the gears.. When u don't warm up the car for atleast 5mins until the car idles.. when u shift from 1st to 2nd. u get a crunching sound....very loud to.. haven't tried 5th gear at all.. was no use to use it.. but to downshift into 2nd.. its a bitch.. the shifter felt like it was tied up to a 10lb metal as im bringing it into 2nd gear.... my friend tried double clutching and he said it didn't catch.. he said it could be worn clutch because when u let off the clutch u can hear screeching and squealing.. but i ease off the clutch now.. so it doesn't do it really.. anyways when i shift into 3rd its suppose to go into smooth.. sometimes it doesn.. but it feels like the gears are in the way.. so the shifter goes over 3 lil bumps for it to go into 3rd.. you'd think that pushing it up lightly would make it go in.. hell no.. if u do that it grinds.. cuz its not going in all the way.. because u have to force it threw the gears.. like ur meshing the shifter thru the gears.. also when i shift from 3rd to 4th.. i can feel the shifter touch rub 2 gears/teeth while entering 4th.. i mean it kinda feels like the clutch isn't disengaging all the way when i try to shift.. but what the hell i mean when i put my hand on the shifter and push in da clutch i can feel the merchandise let go of the shifter...

also had a shop lubricate shifter linkage..

my clutch doesn't slip.. i can let my clutch out to the point where i don't have to add gas..

please guys help me solve the problem.. i promise to pay up anybody who does help me out.

thanks again guys..

Throwout bearing might be toast, possibly not fully disengaging the clutch.

First things First!

Ensure you have the proper amount of tranny fluid, go ahead and change it with new Honda MTF.

Ensure you have the proper amount of clutch fluid and bleed the clutch stystem.

Now, tell us what's going on after you rule the easy stuff out.

For novels such as those that you have written please include cliffnotes.

And with that attitude I find it easy to see why you are not being helped. You have to help yourself first. And also, this has been gone through millions of times. If you're going to be an *** just search, find the solution, and leave.

im sorry i dont have the answer to your problem, but i do think that you'd be able to find someone to help you sooner if you (1) correct your attitude, and (2) stop posting every 5 minutes. gl
