ditto.
first, their million and one sales people who look like they're fresh out of high school will swarm your *** like flies on ****, even if you're just making your way back to the parts department which is cleverly located in the back... where you HAVE TO walk thru the show room!
second, you'll chuckle your *** off when one of these guys tell you that he can get you a brand new R6 for a great low price of ONLY $12K OTD.
I can go on and on about why NOT to buy a bike from them unless you REALLY have the hook-up there or you're just deperate to buy a bike. I just go there to sit on different bikes, and try on there gear so I can buy them online for waaaay cheaper.

I agree their prices aren't the best but I have a few buddies who got pretty good deals on bikes from Berts. A friend of mine got his '05 zx-6rr for 9k otd from them. Even Hahm said they couldn't match their price.

The RR is 599cc and a bit more expensive with a few more goodies.

Do go to Berts to check out and try on gear, bikes, etc but do not buy your bike from there. There are plenty of other places that'll get you a bike for less.
Only thing is their approval is a lot easier for those financing straight from a dealer.

Yah I don't go to hamh unless there is not enough time to go to berts... But like others I go to berts to window shop... Try out the gear then buy online unless they having a good sale I might pick something up to keep from having to wait on shipping....
You might want to try chaparral they out in san bern straight down the 91/215 its a bit of a drive but if you going from anaheim to berts like me this isn't really all that much farther then berts is....
http://Www.chaparralracing.com

the reason you get ripped off is because you dont do your homework on the bike.if you just go there and say how much for this bike,of course it is going to be a jacked up price.look up the bike online and see what the value of it is.never ask the the price on the bike,if you are interested in buying it,you give them a price which you will pay for it,if they say they cant sell it for that price, leave.
one of my friends bought a 600rr and said he will give them 9000 out the door.he got the deal
another friend went in there and told them a price he will pay for an r6(i dont recall the price, this was in 03),they wouldnt make the deal,so he left.couple hours later they called him and said he can take the bike for his asking price.
its not them, its you.do your research

I think your friend ripped himself off. He could of got it for much less if he (as you said) "did his homework". $9K OTD for a 600RR is alright, not great. LA Honda is a couple of hundred less. Which can definately go towards gear or whatevers.

No. It's them. Next time, go and look at there price tags. The price of the bike is actual MSRP but they add like $1000 for destination and $1000 for other bs. So for a bike you would normally see stickered at like $8500, you see $10,500 at Berts. **** those guys.
