I just recieved the edm guage cluster i ordered from a member on this board( the one with 8k redlike and 150mph speedo). Problem is that the lights on the cluster do not light up for the correct things, example( the e-brake makes the check engine light come on)

If anyone has experience with wiring one of these clusters up it would be greatly appreciated.

car is a 91 civic dx if that matters at all, i had an Si cluster in it previously.

I was under the impression that this thing just bolted/plugged right up

 

One of two things

1) You need to switch those two wires
2) One of the traces on the back of the guage cluster has shorted out or crossed with another. Back track the circuit pattern and see what is wrong.
