IMO Any decent 2.5 with a straight through muffler. Just add a good resonator.

I am running a janspeed muffler on mandrel 2.5 with a 18" magnaflow resonator and a cat now(dayum epa). And the sound is deeper than a lot. Just be warned it can be a little loud.

Definitely , make sure you have a resonator on the exhaust .

My personal favorite exhaust is the Apexi World Sport 2 & also Greddy Evo .

So what your trying to say is that your car sounds like a can of angry bumblebees, and its loud and obnoxious, and unless your running turbo or a big NA setup, your exhaust is mildly oversized. Good for you.

I am runnin little more than a LS motor and it is not high pitched nor THAT loud. My friends with tanabe super medalions are louder and much higher pitched. And though big for this setup it is awaiting a turbo. My point being a resonator in a other wise obnoxious exhaust can both quiet it and give it a deeper tone.
