the stick to shift make noise
i dont know if the installation was mess up or anything, but my friend stick keep shakin and makin noise everytime we hit over 80, we tighten it and even change the **** and made it a short shifter but it stil make some kinda noise, any suggestion?
Thats normal, the stick is basicly attached to the tranny not so much the car, so as the engine vibrates the stick vibrates. The bushing you tightened up just keep it in place but allow the unit to move as needed with the engine, if it was fixed to the car the distances between the shifter and tranny would change everytime the motor moved causing it to shift in a sense.
Its fine dont worry about it. In mine tho I often thro spare change on the boot area and that makes a noise in mine. Nothing to worry about.
BTW why are you going 80mph anyhow? I hope thats on a track and not the open road.
