I bought the strut bars from ebay that is sold all the time. I really don't think it matters what brand it is when it comes to strut bars cause it's so simple in design. It's just a aluminum bar that you bolt on to stiffen your suspension.

The thing i think that does matter is the design. The one i bought off of ebay was a hassle to install. I had to rearrange a few things just to install it. I got a NEUSPEED strut bar to replace it, and it fit perfectly.

I have no-name strut bars front/back/lower. I wouldn't spend the money on name brand ones. For some things, i think it just doesnt matter. For the price, they more than do their job.

I like the Tenzo-R R-Type strut bars. Those things are pretty serious and they sell for $70

Buy name brand bars. Go to autozone or pepboys and compare the APC bars to a real bar and you'll see there is a big difference IMO. The ones that are really cheap on ebay are basically the same as the APC bars, and they more for looks than anything... hence the often used word 'rice' in association with APC products. They're show not go.

i got a rear bar from ebay and just to test how strong it was i started to turn the bar to tension it and as i watched the strut towers i could see that the mounts for the bar were bending with very little pressure. That is why the bars are so cheap on ebay. But it only cost me about an hour with a welder and some metal to beef up the bar. now its real solid total cost about $35

LOL!!! yeah it matters! Do you think track cars use apc/dc type crap??? Don't get me wrong, dc or apc or whatever is better than nothing, but there is a huge difference. Find a friend that has a dc front strut and grab it with both hands and try and move it with you weight, it bends pretty darn easily. Now, find a neuspeed strut bar that has two mounting points on each side and try and bend that. IT DOESN'T!!!!! Rock solid.
