flex.

best of both works and a good street setup. you can lower it to full tuck if you want and the dampening was lot better to me than the tein ss i had. i found the ss to be either way too bouncy or way too soft. and 1" gap was the lowest. i could not get it to where i liked it.

if you cant afford a true coilover system than i would go kyb and lowering springs.

Neuspeed or H&R Sports is what I swear by... had it on my Prelude. Have it on my Civic. I just love it! Perfect drop, perfect stance, perfect stiffness... I honestly could not ask for much more.

It really depends on your preferences. I preffer (as I get older) for my daily driver a fairly soft ride, a lot of the aftermarket struts are very stiff(limit movement greatly) creating a situation where you blame a bad ride on a set of springs etc. you can get a low look with a tien or eibach spring kit(2" or so) using stock like struts and get a fairly good ride, I personally recoment eibach springs because they have the best manufacturing process. I have found the tien springs(no coilover kits etc.) tend to be noisy and sag a bit, the eibachs are top notch, struts are going to play a huge part in how the car rides, and rolls, for a sport/track type (max handling on a fairly flat surface) the coilover set ups and most of the adjustable struts will do, for a more reasonable street/compliant ride tokiko blue's or bilstein etc. more along the lines of a stiff stock replacement. Like I said it's a matter of preference and how much you want to spend. I have found the Tien look to be awsome but some of there quality control is just good. Never had any problems with eibach, or tokiko if installed properly.

Well I've had Tein Flex w/edfc - by far the best suspension I've ridden on so far. I'm currently riding on GAB's i would rate those a B- or C+. They are loud and rub even at an almost obscene height. Also have experienced ground control sleeves, nice but blew shocks in no time, H&R springs with KYB - nice, as well as several others.

Keep the good info coming.

Tanabe Sustec Pro, best 1k ever spent.!!! No rust like the Tein's, better ride than the Omni's and great adjustability.

stocks

Damn! I guess Koni's w/GC's dont play. I figured everyone would vouch for any of the many full threaded shocks on the market.

Jai-dm - Tanabe Sustec Pro huh? You sound pretty enthusiastic about those, gonna have to see if someone local has that set up and will let me feel it out.

Good Lookin' too all those that left some info, if anyone wants to throw out some more experiences - feel free.

I run Koni "Yellows" and Eibach Pro-Kit. It's a nice street setup, and been "just ok" for track days. I'll be upgrading to GC's soon tho.

To be general, I feel sways and bushings help out considerably. Not including having a good set of tires, those will help with dry traction, cornering, and wet traction. I will not post about coilovers, shocks, or springs due to the fact it's so broad. Some like it stiff, some like the soft ride, so it's hard to determine which is the best for anyone. But other than that, what I've posted above should be on anyone's list, whether they like a soft ride or a stiff ride.
