Windshield Squirters?
Hello,
Does anyone have a set of windshield squirters they want to sell? My wife's Honda Accord Ex needs a set, preferably in white, but will settle for any color. Please IM if you have any you would like to get rid of, sell, or trade them, the one's on her car are white and I think are clogged, so if you don't mind a set that doesn't work, let me know. Will not spend more than $10, cause I could buy the ricer kind, you know the one's that light up and just paint them white, and of course I wouldn't use the LED.
Thanks,
JDMSpoonType-R

I tried that, still doesn't work, all the fluid does is come out onto the hood, like it's pouring out of the little holes. I've tried many times with a paper clip, coming up from the bottom and a needle, coming from the little holes, still doesn't work.
I have the same problem right now. I waxed my car and they never worked again lol. Just drip, drip, drip down the hood. Oh well, gotta go to hondaautomotive parts. That's where I but small stuff that I don't wanna leave the house to get.
Damn, I went to that website http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com, I can't believe they cost $15 a piece.

The problem could be in the hosing under the hood...my suggestion would be to go to home depot or lowes and pick up some tubing and replace it. Then either replace the squirters or soak them in a solution to get the clogged parts out.
Worst case buy a used set and paint them with duplicolor rattle can

DO NOT use hose from homedepot, those plastic clear tube will not stand the heat under hood and it will melt in no time.
autozone sell automotive grade tube/hose
but again, it's 99percent the nozzle that is causing problem.
there's couple of trick you can try, go to a gas station and blow off the crap inside the squiter by an air compressor
make sure you got a firm grip on it or it will fly over 20 feets and landed on someone's car

I'd say first try soaking them in hot water, and from here, if that doesnt work, try soaking them in something alcohol based. See how that works out.

best way to clean those litthe holes if they are plugged is to use a stapler . straighten it up and put in joles and works like a charm if you have access to compressed air that does the trick as well but those stapler work real good they are thin enough
Hey guys thanks for all the great tips......

Yeah, I already checked the hoses and they're fine, I didn't think about soaking them, I'll try that, thanks

I couldn't stop laughing when I read this, I could see someone doing that, even myself.
I'm going to try this as well, after the soaking.

Thanks, I was using a paper clip, but that was a little too think, going to try this as well.
I think after trying these 3 methods, if that doesn't work, I'm going to Autozone and buying the LED ones. I'll just sand them down and paint'em.

Hey guys, just wanted to say thanks, you saved me at least $10. I soaked the squirters in Hot water for about 10mins., then used a staple to clean them out, and finally blew on them. It all payed off, just installed them and BAM, they worked!

My home depot carries the stronger fuel lines that autozone carries. I should have been more specific.

i need to do this. one of the holes on my passenger one is clogged, so the other hole squirts onto the top part of the windshield, instead of the middle =P. i have a small air compressor i'll try tomorrow, along with other things i need to do, like recharge my air filter.
